The Bob Pryor Memorial Scholarship
The Board of Directors of Hotshots Softball of Arizona, Inc., is proud to present the Bob Pryor Memorial Scholarship in
honor of Bob, a grandfather to an Arizona Hotshots player and an avid softball enthusiast/softball hall of famer.
The Bob Pryor Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to a qualified recipient as further described below.
A $500.00 one-time scholarship will be awarded to the recipient that will attend any four-year college or university and
participate in women's softball, demonstrates good citizenship, community service, positive attitude, hustle and
sportsmanship honoring the sport of fast-pitch softball. Awards will be paid directly to the educational institution.
Who May Apply:
A Hotshots Softball of Arizona current team member that graduated in 2023
Female Arizona residents who are undergraduate students planning to attend any four-year college or university with the intent of playing women's softball
Applicants must enroll in a minimum 12 credit hours, their first semester of college;
The applicant may not already have a full athletic or academic scholarship;
Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA as demonstrated by an unofficial final high school transcript.

Application deadline is closed for 2023
Application Requirements:
A completed application;
An essay describing what softball has meant to you thus far in life, the impact it has on your life and what your plans are collegiately and beyond through softball;
A letter of recommendation signed by a coach confirming your current participation on an Arizona Hotshots softball team; and
One unofficial copy of your high school transcripts, confirming you maintained an overall minimum GPA of a 3.0 throughout your high school career.
